Riyadh- Mubasher: Saudi Ceramic Company (Saudi Ceramics) announced that a fire broke out on the evening of 18 August 2026, at an electrical substation supplying one of its tile production lines.

The incident occurred at the company's facilities located in the Second Industrial City in Riyadh. Civil Defense teams successfully brought the blaze under control, and the company confirmed that the accident resulted in no injuries or fatalities.

The disruption has impacted production operations for the specific line connected to the affected station.

Saudi Ceramics noted that it maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for its properties and facilities. The company is currently coordinating with relevant authorities to assess the technical, operational, and financial impact of the fire.

Technical teams are performing necessary safety procedures and repairs to restore operations. The company expects to announce a timeline for the gradual resumption of production once the full assessment is complete.

Saudi Ceramics committed to disclosing any material financial impact as soon as the information becomes available.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, the company’s net profits dropped by 68.15% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 42.66 million from SAR 133.92 million.
